  Friday 23rd February - Friday 1st March

Friday 22nd February saw the initiation night of Simon's mate Austyn and Paranoia Club's latest recruit. First stop was the Prince of Wales and then the very Dorothy-ish Golden Cross where we danced to YMCA and Kylie (surprise surprise). O'Neill's was next where we practised our 80's dance moves in preparation for the upcoming party. Shari, Simon & Austyn went home at about 1.00am, Suzanne and Debbie were hardcore, staying until the bitter end. Selected photographic evidence is below however Simon has now been banned from touching a camera after he demonstrated that he could not be trusted with one and Austyn is still recovering from the shock of it all!

Saturday 23rd Feb
Shari held a soiree at her house with Debbie, Anna (Shari's housemate), Amy and Alison (WCMD auditionee) where she cooked veggie pasta and we drank a plentiful supply of champagne and wine once we found a bottle opener! We watched top Aussie film, The Castle and Pop Idol.

The following week was quiet by Paranoia Club standards. Suzanne was detoxing, while Debbie and Simon rested their livers and Shari was ill (after spending a drunken night at the Celtic Manor with her good mates, Mick & Lisa & Co - oh and Des Lyman, Terry Venables and the Spurs team - not that she knew who they were!!)

Friday 1st March (St David's Day)
While Suzanne stayed at home, Shari and Debbie went out (separately) on the town. Debbie's old mate Dave was down for the rugby with his mate Jon, so she met them in the Gatekeeper and took them on a tour of some of Cardiff's finest inns before
heading to O'Neills. Debbie managed to fall down and up various flights of stairs, losing her pint at one stage (what a waste of a good pint!). Dave managed to fall up the stairs to O'Neills, but kept his pint intact - top bloke! Meanwhile, Shari had gotten herself hammered at her workmate Owen's leaving do at the Pen & Wig. She had somehow remebered to met up with honorary members David and Rhodri in O'Neills, but failed miserably trying to find Deb in the same venue.
Debbie, Dave and Jon left O'Neills accompanied by a traffic bollard, an empty pint glass and several cloakroom tickets.
Shari, David & Rhodri went home and this time, Rhodri redeemed his previously pathetic effort of cooking, with a magnificent cheese on toast combo at 5.00am.

Saturday 2nd March

The next day, Debbie (amazingly) made it into town by 10.00am and after seeing Dave and Jon off, and somehow managed to bump into David and Rhodri. The alcoholic three proceeded at haste to Bar Cuba to meet Suz and Shari and, of course, watch the rugby. Shari, despite being still in bed at 10.45am made it to town by 11.30am! Wales kicked ass - RAAH! and everyone was in a good Stella mood, well everyone besides David but that's to be expected, he's English and they lost to hehehehe France (Vive la France!). We all headed to Ha Ha's where, Suzanne's liver went into shock due to her massive alcohol consumption after her "detox" week. Suz was quickly escorted home by Debbie via a rather unfriendly bus. The remaining three stayed out but separated with David and Shari heading for pizza and then triple vodka's.

Sunday 3rd March
Rhodri, David, Shari & co hit the pub again - this time to watch the Man Utd game and take advantage of the ever generous 2-4-1 offer at Walkabout. This obviously capped the weekend off in style.

Simon was noticeable by his absence all weekend as he went to London. Normal service will resume shortly.

  Friday 15th - Friday 22nd February

Friday 15th February
Last Friday we started on a pub crawl that only managed two pubs - we opted for quantity not quality! Armed with our camera's and loaded up on cash we headed into O'Neills and then didnt leave until close. Stunning French men were plentiful due to the impending match the next day and two of the were smitten with Deb and Shari - however the girls were dedicated to our drinking cause and would never have abandon fellow members! After downstairs shut, upstairs cranked out 80's tunes. Gorgeous honourary members, David and Rhodri were valuable contributors to the nights success and when surviving members Deb & Shari headed back to Rhodri's - the night kicked on with cheese on toast, shocking cocktails and the cricket on cable (ok it was 5.00am!!). Simon finally made it home after a brief slumber session in the park only to be rudely awoken and moved on by the Heddlu. Next day saw a few causalities, one was Shari's voice and the other was Deb - she was a no show for the 6 Nations - something we will never let her forget. The troopers (Simon, Dawn, Kate & Shari) carried on without her but was appalled by her treason. Suz was also absent from the traditional Walkabout pilgrimage but that was well justified - she was at the match!!! Sunday was a dedicated day of rest. Monday night saw Suz, Simon, Dawn, Kate and I at The End for vodka red bull night and yes, it gave us wings. Tuesday night saw the intrepid crew plus new member Heulwen down at the College bar at 5.00pm. Stumps was called at 11.00 (thank god) and we were faced with the beer scooter trek home. Deb did the unthinkable and left without finishing her pint (what are you like?!). Wednesday we were back at The End for our weekly meeting which is always a messy affair. Thursday we had to rest the livers and now we are back to the start again, Friday night.

The questions remains though: Which member of the Paranoia Club Who will be the most slaughtered tonight? Stay tuned for next week's instalment of Paranoia Club!
